Tottenham Hotspur are set to take on Arsenal in the Carabao Cup tomorrow.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Football.London that Paulo Gazzaniga will start against Arsenal tomorrow.

Tottenham are taking on Arsenal in the Carabao Cup at the Emirates Stadium, and Pochettino has suggested that he may name a full strength line-up.

However, when asked if Gazzaniga would start ahead of Hugo Lloris, Pochettino stated that the Argentine would be given the nod.

“He [Gazzaniga] is going to play. I will rotate (laughs). One player for sure, yes,” Pochettino said.

“Tomorrow, of course an important game, but to learn from a few weeks ago it will be a different game and approach. The competition is different. All the team are going to do many rotations. Maybe I surprise you and not rotate too much.”

Pochettino has previously often overlooked the League Cup, but it seems that Spurs may well be taking the competition seriously this year.

Tottenham will want revenge on Arsenal for the recent defeat at the Emirates in the Premier League.

Spurs were beaten 4-2 by the Gunners earlier this month, and Pochettino’s side have made no secret of the frustration they felt after that defeat.

Since that match, Tottenham have recovered well and they now sit above Arsenal in the Premier League table.
