Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino, said that he is proud of his players, following his side’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday at White Hart Lane.

Once again, Spurs have been dominant at home, and goals from Mousa Dembele, Heung-min Son, Harry Kane, and Vincent Janssen sealed full three points for the north Londoners.

Pochettino picked out special praise for Kane who made his first start in a month and scored in the second half to take his goal tally to 20 in the Premier League.

The 23-year-old has become just the fourth player to score 20 Premier League goals in three consecutive seasons after Alan Shearer, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Thierry Henry.

Pochettino has hailed Kane as a ‘fantastic’ player, and has rightly labelled him as one of the best in England.

“Harry Kane is a fantastic player – he is one of the best in England and it is fantastic he is fit again to help the team,” said the Argentine while speaking to BBC.

Pochettino adds that Son has been brilliant again and that the South Korean is playing with full confidence. The 24-year-old has scored in his last four games, and has taken his goal tally to 19 this season.

“Son is brilliant – he needed time to adapt his game but he is now fit and healthy and he is feeling really comfortable,” he added.

With that victory Spurs have now won 12 consecutive games at home this season. The north Londoners have also registered seven consecutive wins in the Premier League, a feat they have managed to achieve for the first team in 50 years.
