Tottenham Hotspur need to overturn a 1-0 deficit tomorrow night against Gent, if they are to progress in the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has kept his cards close to his chest when asked what team he would put out tomorrow night against Gent at his press conference, which was covered by Football.London.

Tottenham take on Gent looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the tie, after a disappointing performance last week.

Spurs put out a strong line-up in Belgium, but they played well below their potential and ultimately were made to pay.

Gent now have a lead to protect when they visit Wembley tomorrow, and Pochettino has hinted that he will only play the Spurs squad members who he feels will be able to cope with the pressure.

“I will play with the players who deserve to play and show me that they can cope with the pressure. Win or lose is another thing,” Pochettino said when asked about what team he would put out tomorrow.

Tottenham put out a very strong line-up against Gent in the first-leg, and Pochettino is expected to name a team full of first-teamers again tomorrow night.

Spurs are determined to take the Europa League seriously this year, but their record in Europe has been poor.

Tottenham crashed out of the Champions League earlier this season, and they have already lost to both Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen at Wembley.
