Tottenham Hotspur have won four and lost two of the games that they have played in their new home thus far.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochetitno addressed the media last night after his side’s 1-0 defeat to Ajax the Champions League, and responded to reporters when asked whether the club’s new stadium is more impressive than the players that he has at his disposal, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs have now lost their last two games in their new home, having won the first four, and they have their work cut-out, if they are to reach the Champions League final.
Tottenham were without Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, Serge Aurier, Harry Winks, Erik Lamela and Eric Dier last night, and they never really looked like troubling Ajax.
In fact, the Dutch side could have been out of sight inside the first 30 minutes.
Spurs remain very much in the tie, however. They will of course have to be a lot better in Amsterdam than they were last night, but do they have enough quality to trouble Ajax?
Pochettino responded to reporters when asked whether the quality of his squad is a match for the club’s new stadium, as quoted by Football.London:

“Our new stadium is amazing. It’s maybe the best in the world. How are you comparing one stadium with a squad. We have the squad that we have. I am happy with the squad. My players. I still think the same. My players are heroes. It is difficult to make the comparison between the facilities, the squad, the players, I think it’s not fair.”
Next up for Tottenham is a trip to Bournemouth on Saturday, before they make the trip out to Holland for the second-leg of their Champions League tie with Ajax.
And Pochettino will be hoping that he has some of his injured players back in time for that game.
