Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media today, ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on Monday night, and provided positive news on the fitness of Dele Alli, as quoted by Football.London.

The 23-year-old has not featured for Spurs since September 26th, and Pochettino’s side have undoubtedly missed the England international’s creativity and drive from midfield.

Tottenham can jump above the Premier League champions with a win on Monday night, and having Dele back and available for selection will be a huge bonus for the north London outfit.

Pochettino spoke to reporters today, and hinted that the Spurs ace might just be involved against City on Monday, as quoted by Football.London:

“Yes I think it’s good news but we need to be careful because he was re-injured against Watford after his first injury. Now we need to be careful. We are happy that he started today with the group. Yes, sure we hope he will be available for Monday but not sure if we’re going to put him in the squad or not.”

Tottenham will have to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating City, and Spurs fans will be praying that Dele is fit enough to feature against the champions.
