Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose is reportedly up for sale this summer, and was left off of his side’s pre-season tour.
Tottenham opted to leave the likes of Georges Kevin N’Koudou, Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Danny Rose and Vincent Wanyama behind, as they went to Asia, for different reasons.
N’Koudou and Rose were given permission not to come on Tottenham’s pre-season tour as they are thought to be up for sale.
But Pochettino has not written off any player in his squad’s chances.
Indeed the Spurs boss has confirmed that every player who he left behind will be back training with the senior squad soon.
“No, I think the club have said nothing. It’s not my position to talk about the players who are not here,” Pochettino said, when asked for an update on Rose’s future.
“You know very well Vincent [Janssen] has been sold and GK Nkoudou, Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Wanyama, there are a lot of players training at the training ground.
“The only update is going to come through the website or the club if they need to. They are our players who are training in London and when we go back they will be involved with the first team.”
Pochettino’s decision to allow Rose to search for a new club has been particularly controversial at Tottenham.
Rose looked to be getting back to his best form last term, and he could be a big loss for Spurs if he is sold.
Tottenham are yet to sign a new full-back this summer, despite Rose’s future being in doubt and Kieran Trippier being sold.
