Tottenham Hotspur endured a drama-filled season during the previous campaign, as this current season will be the focus of Amazon’s latest documentary series.
Mauricio Pochettino was seemingly annoyed after he was asked about Tottenham’s decision to partake in an Amazon documentary series.
The Spurs boss didn’t like the idea of talking about that ‘All or nothing’ Amazon documentary, which he was asked about after Spurs drew 1-1 with Watford on Saturday.
As reported by The Independent, Tottenham will be the latest focus of Amazon’s Original documentary series ‘All or nothing’, with the series showcasing the club’s current campaign.
After that Watford game, Pochettino made it clear that the decision to go ahead with such a series was ‘a club decision’.
“Do you think it is a moment to talk about that?” said Pochettino, as quoted by Football. London. “I am focused only in trying to stick with giving my best to turn the moment.
“That was a club decision to do a documentary about Tottenham and me as a manager I need to give my best to help the club to do what the club want.”
It could perhaps be argued that Tottenham’s previous campaign was more worthy of a documentary, but no-one knew what was going to unfold before a ball was kicked.
From opting against spending any money on players to having to deal with delays to their new stadium, finishing in the top-four despite suffering a number of defeats in the Premier League and that Champions League run – it was nail-biting to watch from a Spurs perspective.
This season has started in a more negative fashion, with the future of a number of players coming into question and Tottenham’s suffering a number of big defeats.
But, just like last season, Pochettino will be hoping his Spurs side can take some inspiration from that team that reached the Champions League final because they are going to need it.
