Tottenham Hotspur thumped rivals Chelsea 3-1 on Saturday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has hailed Son Heung-min’s performance against Chelsea to Football.London as ‘fantastic’ after the 3-1 victory on Saturday evening.
Spurs hosted London rivals Chelsea at Wembley Stadium last night, and were hoping to claim bragging rights whilst attempting to keep the pressure on Manchester City and Liverpool, who both won earlier on Saturday.
It ended up being a dream evening for Spurs, as they raced into a 2-0 lead inside the first 20 minutes, with Dele Alli’s header and a long-range Harry Kane strike setting them on their way.
Son then bagged a third after the break, before Olivier Giroud pulled a goal back for Chelsea – and much was made of Son’s performance in the Spurs attack.
The South Korean star had a slow and disrupted start to the season, having headed off to the Asian Games in August, missing almost a month of the campaign, and then looked tired having also played in the World Cup over the summer.
As a result, Son has been in and out of the Spurs side this term, but justified his inclusion on Saturday with a superb display, terrorising the Chelsea back line before scoring an outstanding solo goal.
Tottenham will now hope that Son is fit and back to his best ahead of the busy Christmas period, and boss Pochettino hailed him after the final whistle on Saturday.

Pochettino has told Football.London that Son was ‘fantastic’ against Chelsea, adding that he deserved a strong game having endured a ‘difficult’ summer playing for his country, and is now ready to really kick on.
“I don’t need to say too much,” said Pochettino. “He was fantastic, like all the team. The goal he scored and everything was working tonight. It is completely unfair to say, ‘Yes our idea, how we prepared the game, the plan, the tactic was fantastic’. No, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. You can see on the pitch, Son’s performance was fantastic and you can see he deserved it because the summer for him was very difficult.”
“In the last international break he was here, training hard. It is one of the reasons today that he showed he is fresh, his physical condition is much better and I think it is going to help him for the rest of the season,” he added.
