Tottenham Hotspur lost 2-1 at Liverpool this afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Football.London that he thought Liverpool’s penalty was ‘soft’, but it was still a penalty.
Pochettino took his Spurs side up to Anfield this afternoon for a tough task against the Premier League leaders, but saw his side make a dream start.
Son Heung-min’s effort was deflected onto the bar, and striker Harry Kane was first to react as he headed past Alisson from the rebound to put Spurs 1-0 up inside a minute.
Tottenham couldn’t double their lead, with Son hitting the bar again in the second half, before Jordan Henderson hauled Liverpool level at the back post.
Spurs will have been hoping to get out with a point, as they did away at Manchester City and Arsenal, but a rash moment from Serge Aurier ended those dreams.
Aurier won the ball from Sadio Mane inside the box, but then managed to clip Mane and bring him down for a penalty, with Mohamed Salah dispatched.

Liverpool claimed the 2-1 win, but some haven’t been happy with the penalty, as Aurier didn’t even know Mane was there; he just went to clear the ball, and Mane ran in front of him to ensure he kicked his leg rather than the ball.
Pochettino was asked about the incident at full time, suggesting that he didn’t want to complain about the decision but did add that it was ‘soft’, yet still a penalty because of the clear contact Aurier made with Mane’s ankle.
“It was an action that I don’t want to complain,” said Pochettino. “Technically it is a penalty because there is contact. It’s an action that’s soft but it’s a penalty,” he added.
