Harry Winks impressed during Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-0 win against AFC Bournemouth.

Christian Eriksen’s second-half winner saw Tottenham recording their first Premier League victory at Wembley on Saturday against AFC Bournemouth.
After the match, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino praised young midfielder Harry Winks who put up an impressive performance yet again.
The 21-year-old, who won his first senior England cap in the win over Lithuania last week, was simply brilliant in the middle of the park for the north London club.

Pochettino has nicknamed him “Little Iniesta”, and he showed great passing skill, linking defence with attack, as he found the target with 94.5% accuracy of his 73 passes.
The Argentine was happy with Winks’ performance, and said after the match that the youngster has “big potential”.
Pochettino added that Winks was very good against Bournemouth, and said that the national team call up was very important to him.

“Yes, he was very good. I think he’s a midfielder with great quality and big potential,” said Pochettino, as quoted by Football London.
“I think it was so important for him that the national team called him because I think that confirms your quality. I think it’s a big motivation for him. I think today he was very good. He showed today a real good quality.”
Winks could have added a goal to his name, but he fired over in the stoppage time.
Meanwhile, with this victory, Spurs have closed the gap with Manchester United to just two points, and are still five points behind league leaders Manchester City.
