Tottenham Hotspur had 18 shots on goal against West Brom on Saturday.

Speaking to Football London, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he is at a loss to explain how his side didn’t beat West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
The managerless Baggies turned up to Wembley with Gary Megson in a caretaker role and left the capital with a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
Salomon Rondon fired West Brom ahead against a Tottenham side that has beaten Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in recent weeks, but Harry Kane rescued Spurs with a 74th-minute equaliser.

Pochettino’s side huffed and puffed from there on in but ultimately failed to pick up the three points.
The Lilywhites had 18 shots – seven on target, 11 off – compared to Albion’s four, and also boasted 73% possession and eight corners to zero.
And the Argentine admitted to Football London that he doesn’t know how his side didn’t win.

He said: “In the last 15 minutes we began to play so much better, moved the ball better and found better space. In the second half I think it was very good.
“The team played very well and created many chances. It’s disappointing to drop two points, but from my point of view and the team’s it’s so difficult to explain why we didn’t win the game today.”
Tottenham are now 10 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, who will extend that to 13 if they win away at Huddersfield Town this evening.
