The Tottenham Hotspur star has been absent from action for the past month.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters yesterday, and provided an update on Dele Alli’s recovery from injury, suggesting that he could be back and available for selection during the next one to two weeks, as quoted by Football.London.
The 22-year-old has been out for Spurs since injuring his hamstring against Fulham on January 20th, and Pochettino will be desperate to have the Englishman back involved with the first-team, as his side continue their quest for glory both domestically and on the continent.
Dele is so important to Tottenham, and having him back might just give Poch’s side the boost they need as they approach the final stretch of the season.
Pochettino addressed the media yesterday, and suggested that he could have the England international back as soon as next week, although he did admit that it could take up to two weeks for him to be 100 per cent ready to play again, as quoted by Football.London:

“It’s difficult to know when – maybe one week, ten days, two weeks. It depends on now. He’s in a key part, maybe the last part of his recovery and that is a key part and we can’t know if it will be one week, ten days or two weeks, we’re going to assess him day-by-day.”
Tottenham currently sit five points adrift of league leaders Manchester City and second placed Liverpool, so they will need Dele back and firing on all cylinders as soon as possible, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of winning the league this season.
