The Tottenham Hotspur star is a vital player for his club.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters int he aftermath of his side’s superb win over Everton yesterday, and provided an update on Dele Alli, after the 22-year-old was forced off injured at half-time at Goodison Park, as quoted by Football.London.
Dele scored Spurs’ second goal against Everton yesterday, before being taking off after clashing with Toffees stopper Jordan Pickford.
The England international has been in great form this season, and has chalked up an impressive six goals and three assists in 19 appearances in all competitions, so losing him for a prolonged period of time would be a real blow for Tottenham.
Pochettino seems to think that he will have the England international back sooner rather than later, however.
The Argentine responded to reporters when asked if Dele was badly hurt yesterday, as quoted by Football.London:

“No. We will see if it’s an issue. I think he’s tired. We hope it’s not a big issue.”
Tottenham only have three days to recover after yesterday’s win, and they are set to welcome Bournemouth to Wembley Stadium on Boxing Day.
And Poch will be hoping that he has Dele to call upon over the next week or so, with vitally important games coming thick and fast for the north London outfit.
