Mauricio Pochettino has told Football.London that he felt Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela really shone for Tottenham Hotspur against Swansea City.

Spurs picked up a 3-0 victory at the Liberty Stadium yesterday in comfortable fashion.

Tottenham were rarely threatened throughout the contest, with a number of stand out performances on display.

And Pochettino admits that although his whole team played well, Eriksen and Lamela were a class above.

“I think the whole team was very good. Of course, Christian scored and Lamela too, they shone of course,” he said.

“But of course I am so happy, I’m very pleased with the performance from everyone. In the last three games we have played different competitions, with a different starting eleven. I think all the players involved have tried to help the club and the team achieve all that we want – I am so happy, so proud because we keep the same performance and the same level.”

Eriksen opened the scoring for Spurs with a wonderful strike on his left-footed.
