Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has been impressed by Moussa Sissoko’s performances this season.

Sissoko joined Spurs from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016 for a fee of £30 million according to the Daily Mirror, and he endured a difficult first campaign with the North London side.
Sissoko failed to make much of an impression when given a chance at Spurs, and he had dropped a long way down the pecking order last term.

However, Pochettino has given Sissoko a second chance this season – and the French international has repaid his manager’s faith.
Sissoko was one of Spurs’ best players when they beat West Ham United last weekend, with his energy and power in midfield catching the eye.
And Pochettino says that Sissoko has also been a major help in aiding Serge Aurier to settle at Spurs after joining from PSG last month.

“It’s good for Aurier to have Sissoko to help integrate him,” Pochettino said.
“I think Sissoko is doing very well. I am so happy with him this season.”
Sissoko may well start for Tottenham in their Champions League match against APOEL on Wednesday.
Spurs could be without the injured Mousa Dembele in midweek, which may present Sissoko with another chance to impress.
