Tottenham Hotspur won against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League on Saturday.

Alli featured for Tottenham in the Premier League game against Huddersfield at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday afternoon.
The England international midfielder’s performance was encouraging, as the 21-year-old set up the opening goal.

Pochettino was pleased with the performance of Alli, who joined Tottenham from Milton Keynes Dons in February 2015 for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5 million.
Pochettino told Football.London about Alli: “Yes, I am happy with the performance of Dele, he participated a lot during the game and he assist again, he is so important player for us, I am so happy for him.”

Encouraging display
Alli is not at his best yet, and there have been occasions this season when the Tottenham midfielder has gone missing.
Although the Spurs star was exactly ‘great’ against Huddersfield, the youngster was quietly effective and did his job well.
With Tottenham entering a crucial phase in the season, Alli will now be more important than ever, and the club’s fans will hope that the Englishman produces the goods consistently.
