Tottenham Hotspur are without a win in five games in all competitions.
Mauricio Pochettino has told The Independent that Christian Eriksen needs to be a lot more determined to score goals for out-of-form Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old has not found the net from any of his nine Premier League outings so far this season.
With Harry Kane out injured, Vincent Janssen struggling to score from open play and Son Heung-min without a goal since the end of September, there is a responsibility on Spurs’ midfield options to chip in with goals in the 23-year-old’s absence.

This was evident again on Saturday when Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw by champions Leicester City in a game that Pochettino’s side dominated but the setback saw them fall three points behind co-leaders Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool at the summit.
And the Argentine manager has suggested that the Danish playmaker, in particular, needs to buck up his ideas on the goalscoring front.
“Eriksen needs to improve,” Pochettino said to The Independent.

“He needs to be more determined to score. It’s belief. It happens in football. We are in a difficult period since the international break.”
Tottenham are now five games without a win in all competitions and it certainly seems as if the absence of Kane is finally taking its toll on a side who initially did well without him.
They visit North London rivals Arsenal next week.
