Tottenham Hotspur signed Juan Foyth from Estudiantes in the summer transfer window.

Foyth joined Premier League club Tottenham from Argentine side Estudiantes in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £8 million.
The 19-year-old is a very talented and promising young central defender, but the teenager made only a handful of first-team appearances for Estudiantes before his move to Spurs.
Tottenham manager Pochettino has suggested that the Argentina Under-20 international centre-back may not get much playing time in the beginning of the season.

“Like all the young players, we’ll try not to put pressure on him,” Pochettino told ESPN FC about Foyth.
“It’s a massive change coming from Argentina to England. The football is completely different, the game is completely different.
“He needs to settle in England first of all and then little by little start to improve, adapt to the game here. I think it’s early to think about giving him the possibility to play.
“But he’s doing so well in the last week and we are so happy because his potential is massive.”

Foyth is very young and quite inexperienced in terms of first-team appearances, and it makes sense for Pochettino not to throw him into action rightaway.
Tottenham are quite strong in the central defensive department at the moment, and it would make sense for the Argentine boss to gradually integrate Foyth into his team.
