Tottenham Hotspur have won just once in their last seven matches across all competitions.

Spurs’s players commitment has come into question in recent weeks, with results and performances taking a turn for the worse.
Spurs have been hammered by Bayern Munich and Brighton & Hove Albion in recent weeks, while they also failed to beat Watford.
Tottenham have been strangely passive in all three of the games, with Pochettino’s side failing to really play on the front foot.
Spurs fans have been demanding that their side show greater work-rate and desire to get back to winning ways.
But Pochettino insists that he doesn’t think that his team need to run more during matches.
“You believe you need to run more than it’s not like this,” he said. “We need to show we are all together, we need to show we are with the manager, we need to show we care, to run, run, run more. Sometimes, though, it’s better to run less and not spend so much energy thinking.
“No no no. In these type of these situations you try and you try and sometimes it’s best not to try. You need to use more intelligence. You try so much score first before your opponent so if you concede a chance or a goal, it’s like every single action from then on needs to be successful.
“That’s normal. Any team will feel this type of situation. The only way to change dynamic is to stay all together and translate the calm, belief and the faith you need to do what we need to do.”

Tottenham have yet another chance to kick start their season this evening, when they take on Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League.
Spurs have failed to win either of their first two European matches, and another defeat this evening would leave their hopes of qualifying hanging by a thread.
if Pochettino’s side can pick up the three points it would be a major boost to them though, as they look to recover some confidence and momentum.
