Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is already off the mark for the season, with two goals to his name.

Despite’s Kane’s amazing scoring record, the Tottenham striker has consistently started seasons slowly.
Kane has found it difficult to hit the back of the net in August for Tottenham in previous years.
However, the striker netted a brace in Spurs’s opening day victory over Aston Villa this term.
And Pochettino is hoping that Kane can hit the back of the net for the whole season through this year.
“To score the two goals, he is very sharp. It is normal,” he said. “We are talking a lot because he scored twice. If he didn’t we would be saying we are worried because he has not scored in August. I hope this season, please, that he starts to score and doesn’t stop until the end?”

Kane appears to be leaner and sharper than last season, which is a scary thought for Premier League defenders.
The Tottenham forward enjoyed an excellent pre-season, and looked in fine form against Villa.
Kane’s first goal was simply hammered into the net from close range, but his second showed real skill and composure, as he curled in a low shot from outside the area.
Tottenham ended up beating Villa 3-1 to get their season off to a strong start.
