Tottenham Hotspur have not won a trophy for 10 years.

Spurs currently sit in fourth position in the Premier League table, eight points clear of fifth placed Chelsea, although Antonio Conte’s side do have a game in hand on Pochettino’s men.

The Argentine has earned many plaudits for the manner in which he has gone about his business during his time in charge at the club, but his failure to guide his side to a trophy has been a hot topic amongst the media of late.
Tottenham face Manchester United in the FA Cup semi final on Saturday, and are just two games away from winning their first trophy since 2008.
Pochettino hinted that a top four finish remains his priority, though, when speaking to reporters, as quoted by Football.London:

“No. I think no. It’s the FA Cup semi-final. If you are capable of going to the final and in the end you win the FA Cup you are not going to play in the Champions League next season. You are only going to play in the Champions League if you finish in the top four.”
Spurs need just eight more points from their final four games to guarantee a top four finish, so that should, in essence, give them the leeway they need to focus on the FA Cup.
And if the north London outfit do win the world’s oldest domestic cup competition, it should stand them in great stead, as they look to continue their evolution under the guidance of Poch.
