Tottenham Hotspur take on APOEL Nicosia on Wednesday night.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Victor Wanyama is ‘doing well’ – but he cannot state when he will return.
Wanyama, 26, has been a key player since reuniting with his former Southampton boss Pochettino in the summer of 2016, playing a huge role in the Spurs midfield last season.
The Kenyan star was expected to feature prominently again this season, but suffered a knee injury back in August, and he hasn’t returned since.

Expected to be out for just a couple of weeks, Wanyama has now been out for more than three months, and Spurs are desperately missing his influence in midfield.
Spurs fans have been concerned about just how long Wanyama will be out for, and ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with APOEL Nicosia, Pochettino has offered an update.

Pochettino has told Football.London that Wanyama is doing well, but there is no clear estimate on when the midfielder will actually return to action.
Pochettino can’t put a timeframe on his comeback, but will continue assessing the former Celtic ace day by day, in the hope that he can return to training properly in the near future.
“I cannot say the time. He is doing well,” said Pochettino. “We will assess day by day, week by week to see when he can join the group again and start training. Today I can’t say anything about the timing,” he added.
