The 23-year-old is one of the best young strikers who was sensational when he was at Fiorentina.
True, Vlahovic’s spell at Juventus so far has not been particularly great, but the Turin club have not had a great time as a team on the whole for a while now.
In 2020-21, Vlahovic scored 21 goals and gave three assists in 34 Serie A starts for Fiorentina.
In the first half of the 2021-22 season, the striker scored 17 goals and provided two assists in 21 Serie A starts for Fiorentina.
Following his move to Juventus in January 2022, the youngster scored seven goals and gave one assist in 12 Serie A starts for the Bianconeri in the second half of the campaign.
Last season, Vlahovic scored 10 goals and gave two assists in 22 Serie A starts for Juventus.
According to Lecce director Pantaleo Corvino in La Gazzetta dello Sport, as transcribed by Football Italia, Vlahovic is “a complete centre-forward” and “has physique, a sense for goal, good technique, progression and aerial skills”.
According to former Manchester City and Fiorentina defender Micah Richards on BBC Radio 5 Live in December 2021, the striker is “lightning” and his “left foot is like a wand”.
Vlahovic is rated highly in the footballing community, and we think that Pochettino should sign him for Chelsea.
