Tottenham Hotspur youngster Davinson Sanchez has enjoyed a wonderful first season for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that Dele Alli is the best under-21 player in world football, but he has competition to even be the most talented player of his age at Tottenham Hotspur right now.
Alli has faced some criticism for his performances this season, as he has not scored as frequently as in previous campaigns.
Pochettino has claimed that Alli is the best 21-year-old in world football, though.

He told BBC Sport: “When you compare him with all the young players in the world, not only in Europe, I think he is the best.
“Tell me one better than him, a 21-year-old, all that he achieves. Tell me one. A current player. Maybe you can find similar or better than him?
“For me he is the best because he is my player too. Maybe I am not objective but for me, he is amazing, all that he is doing.”
However, Alli has competition to even be the best 21-year-old at Tottenham currently.

Davinson Sanchez has earned huge credit during his first season at Tottenham, following his £40 million move from Ajax, and now looks to be one of the most talented centre-backs in world football.
Of course, comparing players across positions is always difficult, but it hard to find another centre-back, of the same age, playing at the same level as Sanchez.
Sanchez has performed in the Champions League and the Premier League with minimal fuss.
And although Alli is also a special talent, he may well have competition for Pochettino’s label as the best young player in the world, not only from elsewhere, but also from within Spurs’ squad.
