Tottenham Hotspur have arguably the strongest midfield in the Premier League.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters after his side’s superb 4-0 win over Bournemouth yesterday, and lavished huge praise upon Mousa Dembele, labelling him as one of the most talented players in the world, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Tottenham currently sit in second position in the Premier League table, and seem to be relentless in their pursuit of league leaders Chelsea.
And the Belgium international has been a major driving force behind their success this term.
The 29-year-old moved to White Hart Lane from Fulham in the summer of 2012, or a fee believed to be in the region of £15 million, and has since established himself as one of the league’s finest midfield players.
He has made 24 Premier League appearances for the Lilywhites this season, forming a formidable double pivot at the base of Spurs’ midfield with Victor Wanyama.

And Pochettino lauded the Belgian, when speaking to reporters, making a bold claim about his standing within the game, as quoted by TottenhamHotspur.com:
“You know my feelings – he’s a genius. Mousa is capable of everything, he’s one of the most talented players in the world. I’m very happy he scored.”
The challenge for Dembele now will be to help lead his side to Premier League glory, and if he does that, maybe then he can be considered truly world class.
