The midfielder is proving to be a really important player for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters after his side’s fine 3-0 win away at Cardiff City yesterday, and raved about the performance of Moussa Sissoko, suggesting that the Frenchman is doing a fantastic job for the team, as quoted by Football.London.
The 29-year-old joined Spurs from Newcastle United on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2016, and he initially struggled to establish himself in north London.
Sissoko has been excellent for Tottenham this season, however, and he is now considered to be one of Pochettino’s most important players.
The France international has made 22 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season, and he has injected a certain amount of energy and power into Pochettino’s side.
The Argentine offered high words of praise for Sissoko, when speaking to reporters last night, highlighting how the midfielder’s physical condition is one of his main strengths, as quoted by Football.London:

“I think one of his strengths is his physical condition. Of course he’s doing a fantastic job for the team. I think we are so happy and so pleased. That is what you expect from a player when he signs, to step up and show their quality and in the way he’s playing it’s very good news for Tottenham.”
Tottenham currently sit six points adrift of Liverpool in the race for the Premier League title, and if Sissoko can continue his excellent form between now and May, there is no reason why Pochettino’s side cannot go all the way this season.
