Tottenham Hotspur are one game away from reaching the last four of the Champions League with Manchester City standing in their way.

Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he has been happy with the ‘fantastic’ Tottenham ace Heung-Min Son since November.
Spurs will be preparing for their Champions League second leg encounter against Manchester City on Wednesday night where they will be hoping to maintain their one-goal lead.
Versatile attacker Son scored the only goal of the game during the first leg, and after being benched for his side’s 4-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday, he will be looking to make his mark at the Etihad Stadium.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference against City, as broadcast on Sky Sports News (16/04/2019 4:40 pm), Pochettino was full of praise for his player.
“He’s doing a fantastic job this season,” Pochettino told Sky Sports News. “After November I am so happy with him. You know very well after the World Cup, he was involved in the Asian Cup and then in January, he was involved in another competition. That was difficult for him.
“But I don’t think it is just about Son it is about the offensive players when it’s not going to be Harry Kane players need to step up.
“Now I think, like always, we need the collective effort. Be strong and have the belief and mentality to go and fight.”

It is highly likely that City will dominate possession and Pochettino’s side will depend on hurting their opponents via the counter-attack.
It is an area where Son excels in and if he is provided with the opportunities then there is no doubt that he will hurt City’s backline.
Added with Son, his teammate Lucas Moura might also find himself being named in the starting XI in Manchester after he struck a hat-trick against the Terriers over the weekend.
