Tottenham's Harry Kane applauds the fans as he is substituted off

Tottenham Hotspur battered Stoke City at home on Sunday afternoon. The North London outfit scored four goals in the first half to wrap up a comfortable 4-0 victory in the Premier League game.

Harry Kane was the star of the show for Tottenham at White Hart Lane. The England international striker scored a hat-trick and provided the assist for midfielder Dele Alli’s strike in first-half injury time.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has praised both Kane and Alli for their performances against the Potters.

“He’s playing at a very good level,” Pochettino told BBC Sport about Kane. “He’s one of the best strikers in the world. He deserves it because he’s a great professional.”

“Dele is very mature and a great boy,” added the Tottenham boss. “I am very pleased for him, he had a difficult few days but it was a good response. He was fantastic on the pitch.”

Harry Kane

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and he could end up as the top scorer in the Premier League this season.

The 23-year-old has scored 17 goals and created 29 chances in 21 league matches for Tottenham so far this season.

During the 2015-16 campaign, the Englishman scored 25 goals in 38 Premier League matches.

Dele Alli

Alli is one of the best young midfielders in Europe, and his performance against Stoke was superb.

The 20-year-old England international does tend to get into rash challenges from time to time, but that happens with a lot of young players.
