Tottenham Hotspur star Erik Lamela is expected to join full training from October.

Mauricio Pochettino has delivered a positive update on Erik Lamela’s fitness in Thursday’s press conference, ahead of Everton clash.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder last put on a Tottenham shirt on October 25th, when he played in the 2-1 EFL Cup defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
Since then, he has undergone operations on his hips at the end of the season.

Pochettino said that Lamela is progressing nicely, and that the club is very happy with his rehab.
He added that they are expecting him to return to full training by early October, and then the decision will be made about his availability for match day squad.
The Argentine international joined Spurs in 2013 from AS Roma, and has made 85 Premier League appearances for the north London club.
Speaking about his compatriot, Pochettino said that Lamela “is in very good mood”, and that he is trying to be fit as early as possible.

“We expect early October to join the team and to start the possibility to train the team and decided and assess every day when he will be available,” said Pochettino, as quoted by The Mirror.
“We are happy. I want to try to translate to our fans that Erik is in a very good mood and is happy.
“He is doing all the things to try to be fit as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, Lamela has been photographed training at Hotspur Way on Thursday alongside new signings Fernando Llorente and Juan Foyth.
