Tottenham Hotspur won against Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Saturday.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has told the club’s official website that he is thankful to the fans for their support to the team on Saturday afternoon.
The North London outfit maintained their good run of form with a 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough away from home at the Riverside Stadium.
Son Heung-min was the star of the show for Tottenham, as the 24-year-old South Korea international winger scored both their goals.
Pochettino has thanked the Spurs fans for their support to the team against Boro.
“Like always when we play away, they deserve us to say thank-you,” Pochettino told Tottenham’s official website. “The effort to come to Middlesbrough was fantastic and it’s important to show our love.”
Tottenham have progressed massively under Pochettino, and it looks like they will launch a serious challenge for the Premier League title yet again.
It is still quite early in the season and things could go horribly wrong, but Spurs fans should be confident about another successful campaign.
The North London outfit are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from six matches, just four points behind leaders Manchester City.
Pochettino’s side will take on CSKA Moscow away from home in Champions League Group E on Tuesday evening.
