Tottenham Hotspur take on PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League tonight.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Football.London that he doesn’t want to talk about Vincent Janssen ahead of tonight’s game against PSV Eindhoven.
Spurs beat West Ham United 1-0 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, but must now turn their attention back to the Champions League ahead of their trip to face PSV this evening.
After defeats to Inter Milan and Barcelona in their opening group stage games, Spurs are in danger of being knocked out of the Champions League at the first hurdle if they don’t turn around their form quickly.
A win over PSV is imperative tonight, especially as the Dutch champions sit bottom of the group with no points and have scored just one goal in their two games.
The trip to Eindhoven will see former Ajax stars Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen feature in the Netherlands again, but Vincent Janssen certainly won’t be making a return to his homeland.
Janssen, 25, was a star in the Eredivisie with AZ Alkmaar, scoring 27 goals in 35 league games to earn his big 2016 move to Tottenham, which has been a nightmare.

The striker scored only six goals in his first season, and his last appearance for Spurs came as a 91st minute substitute in the 2-1 home defeat to Chelsea in August 2017.
After a loan spell with Fenerbahce last season, Janssen hasn’t even been registered in Tottenham’s Premier League squad – and when one Dutch reporter asked about Janssen’s situation, Pochettino gave a blunt response, simply stating that he won’t talk about Janssen as his situation is ‘clear’; basically, Spurs don’t want him.
“I think we are going to play in the Champions League and it’s clear the situation of Vincent,” said Pochettino. “I don’t think it’s a moment to talk about him. We’ve talked a lot already,” he added.
