Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has agreed a new deal to remain with the club.

Tottenham can breathe a sigh of relief, as Mauricio Pochettino has signed a four-year extension at Tottenham, keeping him at the club until 2023, as reported by Sky Sports.
With their manager’s future secure, could Tottenham fans receive further good news regarding the future of Christian Eriksen?
Pochettino was pictured having dinner with the Danish international last night in Copenhagen (The Sun), with both being linked with moves away from the club. However, it seems much more likely that Eriksen will remain with Spurs now that his manager’s future has been determined.
The 26-year-old recently professed his affection for the manager, claiming he is “really important” to the future success of the club, in quotes via Evening Standard, while also revealing how comfortable and happy he is playing under the Argentine’s tactics.
“I enjoy how we play under the manager. I think the style of play is something that suits me and the players we have. Generally, you’re going into every game with excitement.”
With the manager having secured his future, Eriksen will be excited at the prospect of looking to develop further as a team and to try and bring some silverware to the club, previously stating:
“People should look at the stabilisation of the team and our achievements in the Premier League. The next step is, of course, to finish the semis and try to get through [to a final]. I think if we do what we did against all the teams in the Champions League again, we have a chance of going even further.”
Pochettino will now look to recruit quality additions this summer, in the hope that his team can challenge for the Premier League and Champions League crowns next term.
