Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly does not want Armando Broja to join West Ham United or AC Milan in the summer transfer window.

According to The London Evening Standard, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants Armando Broja to stay in his first-team squad for this season.

West Ham United and AC Milan are interested in Broja, but Pochettino wants the striker to stay.

The plan is for the Albania international striker to compete with Nicolas Jackson for a place in the Chelsea starting lineup, according to the report.

The 21-year-old, who was described as “a really, really exciting talent” by former Manchester United defender and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville on Sky Sports Premier League in February 2022, is reportedly on the verge of returning from a long-term knee injury sustained last December.

Mauricio Pochettino’s stance exciting for Chelsea striker Armando Broja

In our view, Armando Broja should be excited by Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino’s reported plan for him.

Pochettino clearly rates Broja and wants him in his team this season.

Now, of course, the Argentine manager cannot guarantee the striker a place in the starting lineup.

The Albania international will have to earn his place in the team.

And he should have the confidence to do so.

Broja should take the chances he will get at Chelsea.

Of course, we must not forget that he is only 21 and is still developing as a player, but the Albanian should also take responsibility to repay the faith shown in him by Pochettino.

Broja has made 45 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The striker has scored seven goals in those matches.

Chelsea have a very good and exciting team now, and the Stamford Bridge faithful will hope that they end up in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
