Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min Son hit the back of the net twice against Huddersfield Town yesterday.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino deserves great praise for transforming the performances of Heung-Min Son.
Son was in sparkling form yesterday, as Spurs picked up a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town, with the South Korean scoring both his side’s goals.
Son first took the ball round Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, before heading home to provide his side with the three points.

However, the Son’s form had actually dipped prior to his most recent outing.
The £22m signing from Bayer Leverkusen had not been at his best over 2018, and Pochettino deserves credit for spotting that the attacker needed a rest to get him back to his very best.
Son was taken out of Spurs’ team against both Juventus and Crystal Palace recently, before being unleashed against Huddersfield, and the time out of Tottenham’s line-up appears to have really helped the 25-year-old.

Son was lively and energetic yesterday, and looked like he had a point to prove.
The forward now appears to be back to his dangerous best, and surely has done enough to start against Juventus on Wednesday evening.
