Christian Eriksen is one of Tottenham Hotspur’s most important players.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media yesterday, ahead of his side’s Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven tonight, and provided a fitness update on Christian Eriksen, suggesting that the Dane is ready to play, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs are in real trouble in their Champions League group, having lost their opening two games, and nothing less than a win will do tonight at the Philips Stadion.
The north London outfit have really missed the talismanic Eriksen over the past month.
Pochettino’s side seem to struggle without the 26-year-old’s creative influence, and having him back and available for selection tonight will surely be a huge boost for Tottenham.
The Spurs boss told reporters how Eriksen could be included against PSV tonight, as quoted by Football.London:

“Danny Rose, Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen are still out. Christian Eriksen is fit to be selected and we’ll see tomorrow if I decide if he is to play from the start of the game or from the bench.”
Having lost both of their opening two group games, Tottenham desperately need all three points against the Dutch outfit tonight, and having Eriksen line up from the start will go a long way to helping them achieve just that.
