Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media today, ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Watford on Sunday, and provided an update on Hugo Lloris after the goalkeeper sustained a thigh injury, as quoted by Football.London.

Spurs have begun their 2018/19 campaign in fine fashion, winning all three of the Premier League games thus far, and they will be desperate to head into the two-week international break having won four out of four.

The Lilywhites will have to do without their number one stopper at Vicarage Road, though.

Pochettino sat down for his pre-match press conference today, and shared how he hopes to have Lloris back for Tottenham’s clash with Liverpool in tow week’s time, as quoted by Football.London:

“We’ll see. The idea is of course he is going to miss the game against Watford. We hope he will be ready again for Liverpool. It’s not a big issue.”

Pochettino has the choice of either Michel Vorm or Paulo Gazzaniga to fill in for Lloris.

Whoever the Argentine chooses to play against Watford will have to be on their very best form, though, given the fact that the Hornets, like Tottenham, have a 100 per cent record thus far.
