Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed to Football.London that Ben Davies will be available for Tottenham Hotspur’s match against West Ham United tomorrow.

Davies missed Spurs’ game against Swansea City last weekend, and the Welshman’s absence was felt.

Spurs were forced to line up with Kieran Trippier at left-back, and the right-footed defender didn’t offer the same thrust as he does on his natural side.

Davies should give Spurs more width, if he starts against West Ham, and Pochettino has confirmed that the 24-year-old will come back in to his thinking on Saturday.

“Yes, he struggled last week with his ankle,” Pochettino said. “I told you about the knock against Dortmund. But I think now he is ready.”
