Tottenham have managed just one win in their last eight visits at Wembley.

Tottenham are certainly the most in-form team in the Premier League at the moment. Their 4-0 victory against Bournemouth was their 12th consecutive win at home, and seven in a row in the Premier League.
Furthermore, Spurs have been able to close the gap with Chelsea to four points, after the Blues lost 2-0 to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Tottenham face Chelsea next in the FA Cup semi-final clash in Wembley on Saturday. And Wembley does not bring happy memories for Maurcio Pochettino’s side.
While Spurs may have remained unbeaten at their own ground this season, they have managed just one win in their past eight games at Wembley.
They played their Champions League games at the national stadium, and were knocked out in the group stages.
Pochettino insists that Spurs need to overcome the Wembley jinx otherwise they may struggle next season. Spurs are expected to move to Wembley for one season so that the building work on their new ground can be completed.
The Argentine said that in their most recent visit to Wembley, a 2-2 draw with Ghent has given him the confidence that they can build on from that performance.
“It is about feeling that it is your house, your home,” Pochettino said, as quoted by The Times.
“Against Ghent that was the moment to realise that we can play in the same way that we play at White Hart Lane, and this is a good example that we need to work on, knowing that feeling. We must make Wembley our home because if not, we will struggle to play next season.”
If Spurs get a victory at Wembley against the Blues, it may have a psychological impact on Antonio Conte’s side. With still six rounds of games still remaining for both these teams, the title race could go down to the final day of the season.
