Spurs will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title once again, despite also featuring in the Champions League.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino has told Tottenham Hotspur’s official website that the club have the ability to compete on all four fronts this season.
Spurs surprised many last term by mounting a considerable challenge for the Premier League title. And while they will be looking to put themselves in contention once again, they will also be looking to shine on the continental stage having qualified for the group-stages of the Champions League.

Though their domestic campaign has started strongly – they currently sit second in the table, having won four and drawn two of their opening six games – they tasted defeat against Monaco in their first European game.
But ahead of their second game of the group-stages, against CSKA Moscow, Pochettino has insisted that they can make an impression at home and in Europe.

“We believe that we are ready to compete in all competitions,” he told the club’s official website.
“Always we try to do our best and believe in all the players in the squad because in the end we are involved in four competitions and it’s important to use all the players and all the players are ready to compete. We will try to compete in every competition and try to win something.”
Tottenham’s Harry Kane
While Spurs lost to the Ligue 1 side on the opening matchday, the group is arguably wide open enough for Pochettino’s men to recover from the defeat and book their place in the knockout stages.
And having added some depth over the summer, it is possible that success in Europe will do little to damage their hopes of being amongst the title challengers in the Premier League when the season begins to reach the business end.
