Mauricio Pochettino comments on Tottenham youngsters Kazaiah Sterling and Luke Amos.
Tottenham Hotspur will take on APOEL Nicosia in their final Champions League game on Wednesday.
The north London club are top of Group H with 13 points, three points above Real Madrid, and have already qualified for the knock out stages.
APOEL are bottom of the group with two points and Spurs are obvious favourites for this game at Wembley.
Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to rotate the squad and give fringe players and youngsters a chance to prove their worth.
The Argentine has confirmed that academy youngsters Kazaiah Sterling and Luke Amos will be involved with the squad.
Pochettino explained that he has a good working relationship with John McDermott [academy head] and Dean Rastrick [academy manager] and other coaching members, and that decisions are taken together about players that need to be involved in the first team.
The Spurs boss added that both these players have been working hard in training and that they deserve their place in the team.
“Yes, they will be involved in the squad tomorrow,” said Pochettino, as quoted by Football London.
“Because I think they both deserved to be involved. My relationship with the academy, John McDermott [academy head] and Dean Rastrick [academy manager] is fantastic and with all the coaching staff.
“Kazaiah and Luke Amos, they are working very well and they behave so good. That is why they deserve it, they have the quality as well in the position that we are looking to try to help the team tomorrow. We needed a midfielder, like Luke Amos, and another striker, like Kazaiah Sterling.”
