Serge Aurier was in action for Tottenham Hotspur against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Pochettino made the comments about Aurier following the right-back’s performance for Tottenham against London rivals Crystal Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Solid display
It was the Ivory Coast international right-back’s first competitive appearance of the season, and he did well.
The 26-year-old right-back was a constant threat down the right flank for Tottenham and provided the cross for Son Heung-min’s goal in the 23rd minute.
The defender was also involved in the home team’s goal in the 21st minute when his cross from the right wing was deflected into his own net by Patrick van Aanholt.
According to WhoScored, Aurier had a pass accuracy of 84.8%, won one header, made two tackles, three interceptions and one clearance, and played two key passes.

More consistency
Tottenham manager Pochettino has praised the right-back for his performance, but he wants him to show more consistency in his game.
Pochettino told Football.London about Aurier: “I think he was very happy. We were very happy too. I think the performance was great. First half was fantastic, his concentration and focus.
“Now he needs to show and be consistent. It’s not only one game and the second game the focus and intensity start to drop.
“That is the key in our team, not only him but all the players. All the players need to be consistent and understand that every time we are going to compete we have to give our best.”
