Tottenham Hotspur put four past Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Mauricio Pochettino has shared that he turned away to ‘watch different things’ during Heung-Min Son’s muted yet seemingly apologetic celebration as Tottenham beat Red Star Belgrade 4-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Over the weekend, Son’s challenge resulted in Everton midfielder Andre Gomes suffering a horror injury, with Son visually upset moments after because of the severity of Gomes’ injury.
The Toffees player has since had surgery on his ankle, which went successfully well, as Son returned to action for Spurs on Wednesday in the Champions League – he netted a brace for his team.
After the game, Son’s manager Pochettino stated what he did on the touchline when Son seemed to apologies into the camera during the celebration of his first goal.
“No, I didn’t see it, to be honest,” Pochettino told Football.London. “I don’t have the opportunity to see, whenever we score I always turn or am watching different things, but I didn’t see what happened in the celebration of the goal.”
The Gomes incident affected everyone all round as the Everton man now faces a tough road to recovery in these coming months.

Spurs picked up a point during that game at Goodison Park, as Pochettino will be pleased that his team, who have been in pretty woeful form this season, managed to secure such an emphatic win in Belgrade last night.
Attention will now turn to Premier League matters once again for Spurs, who take on Chris Wilder’s in-form Sheffield United before the final international break of the year takes place.
Spurs are sitting in the bottom half of the Premier League table, as three points at the weekend could see them move into the top-six.
