The Tottenham boss suggests that he wants more goals from the duo.

Mauricio Pochettino has told Tottenham Hotspur’s official website that it’s “very important” for the likes of Erik Lamela and Son Heung-min to improve their goalscoring, in the wake of Harry Kane’s injury.
The Tottenham hitman could miss up to two months of the season after suffering ankle ligament damage in the 1-0 win over Sunderland on Sunday, having scored the winner.

The 23-year-old has been comfortably Spurs’ biggest goal threat over the past two seasons, and £17 million signing Vincent Janssen will look to fill the void left by him up front.
But Pochettino says other attacking players to contribute in the goalscoring stakes. Asked whether it was important for Son and Lamela to chip in, the Argentine said: “It’s very important because it’s about the team and teamwork and always I think it’s important that they share the responsibility in front of goal,” he told Spurs’ website.

Pochettino might get his wish in regards to Son, who scored twice in the 4-0 win at Stoke City 10 days ago, having only netted four Premier League goals all season last term.
The South Korean, who was also exceptional on Sunday, looks a different animal this time around, while Lamela, netted 11 times in all competitions last term, has one league goal under his belt.
