Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose could miss the West Ham clash through injury.
This has been a very frustrating season for Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose, who has badly struggled with injuries.
The England international was out for 10 months due to a knee problem, and he only returned in October. However, according to reports from the Mirror, he has suffered another knee injury setback that kept him out for the clash against Swansea.
The report claims that he has been feeling discomfort in recent weeks, and now he could miss Spurs’ next two games against West Ham and AFC Wimbledon.
In the post-match press conference after the win over Swansea, Mauricio Pochettino said that the club will assess his situation before they can make a statement on his injury.
He revealed that Rose was not in a position to train after the Southampton game, and added that it is a situation that is beyond his control.
When asked whether Rose will miss the clash against West Ham, he replied that it would be difficult for the England international to recover within the next 48 hours.
“I think I cannot say anything, but my feeling, my perception is it would be difficult to play in 48 hours,” said Pochettino, as quoted by Football London.
“We need to assess him. After the game against Southampton it was impossible to train and now we are going to assess him. Then the club will give information about what has happened.”
