Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has apologised to the fans for the defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion today, as quoted in Football.London.

Spurs suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton away from home in the Premier League this afternoon.

It followed a 7-2 loss at the hands of Bayern Munich at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Champions League in midweek.

Pochettino has apologised to the fans for the defeat for Spurs, and he has also admitted that once the Seagulls were 3-0 up, there was no way back.

The Tottenham boss has also said that he does not plan to leave the North London outfit anytime soon, and is committed to the North London outfit.

Pochettino told Football.London: “We tried to find a different way to play in the second half and we didn’t have much luck. At 3-0 you could see the game was over. I want to say sorry to the fans and thank them for their massive effort.”

The Spurs boss added: “My commitment is there after five and a half years. I know very well this business. What I already know is that the faith and belief is there.”

Staying positive

It must be tough for everyone connected with Tottenham at the moment, but the fans, the players and the management need to stay clam and positive.

True, things are bad at Spurs at the moment, but all teams go through a bad spell.

The season is quite long, and Tottenham can certainly get back to their best and get back on track for a top-for finish in the Premier League this season.
