Dele Alli helped Tottenham Hotspur beat Newcastle United 2-0 yesterday.
Alli helped Tottenham pick up a 2-0 win over Newcastle United yesterday, with the England international finishing well to put his side in to the lead.
The 21-year-old was the centre of attention for Spurs yesterday, and was involved many of the game’s decisive moments.
Alli was trodden on by Jonjo Shelvey, which led to the Newcastle man seeing red.

And Pochetino was delighted that Alli, who has a fierce temper himself, did not react to Shelvey’s action.
“He was calm – that’s important. Last season, we talked a lot about that, how we need to behave and improve and learn,” Pochettino said.
“He’s mature enough now to accept sometimes what happens on the pitch, but he is so calm, he is so brave.
“Then he scored – and he scored a great goal – and I am very pleased. He needs to improve, he is not at his best expression, but it is coming.”
After Alli got on the scoresheet, Ben Davies added a second to secure the victory for Tottenham.
Spurs’ positive start to the season is good news for Pochettino’s side, in a weekend when some of their title rivals struggled.
The likes of Chelsea and Liverpool both failed to win on opening day weekend, but Tottenham looked comfortable as they picked up the three points.
Spurs are next on action in a week’s time, when they take on Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.
