Mauricio Pochettino admits he’s disappointed by the goal Tottenham Hotspur conceded.

Mauricio Pochettino has told Football London that he is ‘very, very disappointed’ with the goal that Tottenham Hotspur conceded late on in the 2-1 win at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Tottenham bucked a three-game losing streak on Saturday evening by edging out Chris Hughton’s Seagulls in a nervy encounter.
Harry Kane fired Spurs ahead from the spot, before Erik Lamela doubled the advantage, but Anthony Knockaert pulled one back for Albion in stoppage time.
And Pochettino admits that the loss of concentration angered him.
Here’s what he told Football London: “Very, very disappointed with the last two minutes. The goal we conceded left a very bad feeling. But the players worked so hard.”
It did slightly detract from the joy of the victory, but the performance was never as important as the result last night and Tottenham did get the result.
Pochettino had lost three on the bounce for the first time in his four-year stint as Spurs boss, but losing four in succession would have caused alarm bells to ring.
So although the Argentine was disappointed with the goal they conceded, the two they scored is a lot more important.
