The Tottenham Hotspur ace is one of Europe’s most highly-coveted players.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino insisted that Harry Kane is not for sale, when speaking during an exclusive interview with Spanish television’s El Chiringuito de Jugones, although he did admit that the club’s stance would change if the 24-year-old handed in a transfer request.
The England international has been in sensational form for Tottenham this season, scoring 24 goals in as many games thus far, and he has now firmly established himself as one of the continent’s most prolific strikers.
Unfortunately for the Lilywhites, Kane’s superb form over the past couple of years has not gone unnoticed, with some of Europe’s most elite clubs closely monitoring his progress.

Quite where Spurs would be without their star man doesn’t bare thinking about, and there would surely be a mutiny amongst the fans at the club, if he was allowed to leave in the summer.
Pochettino did not rule out the possibility of the 24-year-old leaving, however, when speaking exclusively to El Chiringuito de Jugones, suggesting that if he asked to leave the club would seriously have to consider their options:

“Being responsible for a club like Tottenham, I would say if Real Madrid came, we would tell them we do not want to sell him. He would stay here and he would have to understand. If you look at it from a the personal side, if the player asked to go like Modric or Bale, we would have to see but today that has not happened. I hope that Harry Kane will be here for many years and bring lots of goals and victories and win some titles, that’s what we want.”
Whatever happens, it would surely take an astronomical amount of money to prise Kane away from Tottenham, and until any kind of bid comes in for him, he remains very much Spurs’ talisman.
