Tottenham Hotspur produced a miraculous comeback against Ajax on Wednesday night.

Tottenham beat Ajax 3-2 on Wednesday night – a result that ensured their passage into the Champions League final, and it will be a night long remembered by the club’s fans.
It could have been so different, however, with Spurs trailing 2-0 at the break, and staring elimination from Europe’s premier competition in the face.
Mauricio Pochettino obviously said a few wise words during the half-time break, but Kieran Trippier came out after the match and shared how Harry Kane geed up the Tottenham players at the end of the first-half, as quoted by the Mirror:
“I don’t know the timescale with his injury but obviously we’re all hoping he can be back because of his presence, even here at half-time, he’s coming in going mental at us because we can do better which we all knew.”

Pochettino, though, admitted that he was surprised to hear the Englishman’s post-match comments, as quoted by Football.London:
“It surprised me. It wasn’t a team talk [from Harry]. He was there like Davinson Sanchez or another player not involved. Trippier said ‘his presence’. Harry was there and translated confidence and of course emotion. But to be honest, I was talking.”
Tottenham obviously have numerous leaders in the dressing room, and that can only be a good thing, as they approach the biggest game in the club’s history on June 1st.
The north London outfit’s next game is against Everton on Sunday, and they will be hoping to end their domestic season with a win, as they look to head into the Champions League final full of confidence.
