Tottenham Hotspur have not made a single signing for over a year now.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested in the Guardian that he has huge plans for this summer.

Tottenham have finally moved into their new stadium, and Pochettino has made an impassioned speech about how he wants his side to move on to the next level.

To really start competing Spurs are surely going to have to give Pochettino more money to spend than he has ever had before.

And the Argentine manager’s comments suggest that he has big plans for the summer.

“No one believed us five years ago when we explained what we were going to do,” Pochettino said. “People started to write: ‘What does this guy smoke? What pills does he take?’ Now, for me, it’s going to be a massive summer. The biggest? Yes.”

Whether Pochettino will finally be given big funds to spend at Spurs now remains to be seen.
